Thank you

To everyone at The Animal Clinic: thank you. Working with each and every one of you has taught me how to be an integral part of a very successful team, a caring team. You have allowed me to grow intellectually and most importantly, to accept my limitations, key to my personal evolution. In so doing, I was allowed to shine in ways I never thought possible. The close relationships that I have developed with staff and clients have underscored the need for me to strive for and maintain these relationships in my future ventures.
The feedback that I have received from both staff and clients has been tremendously positive and I thank all of you for your support in my personal endeavours.
The vets, and all staff, with whom I worked at The Animal Clinic are extremely talented, both professionally and personally. The heart and devotion poured into your work was always clearly manifest. I have always tried to emulate these qualities.
I hope that I have imparted knowledge to all of you, as you have to me.
Thank you, everyone at The Animal Clinic! I will miss you...

I called the clinic yesterday and was surprised to learn that you left. Thank you for outstanding job with Tristan's neutering, your thorough care and attention was appreciated. We would like you to continue looking after our two boys, where will your new practice be?

Rachella,

Thank you so much for your support.
I am taking at least 1-2 months off, therefore I will not be available. This time off will allow me to think about where I will be and what I will be doing. Check in to this site every now and then, as my plans will surely be posted here. Please continue to support The Animal Clinic as everyone there cares about Tris and William. Take care and I hope to see you in the future!

I can't thank you enough for your genuine compassion and dedication to Shandy and I. Thank you for always being so patient with my numerous questions and phone-calls. I always felt better after speaking with you or bringing Shandy in to you because it seemed like you understood what Shandy means to me. You really made a difference to both of us. I wish nothing but the best for you...hopefully Shandy and I will see you soon!

Since you've put so much time into her care...a quick update seems
fitting. Shandy is doing very well on the Baytril. Found out that part
of her breathing problems started because she had a cold. She seems to have recovered from that and is much more perky now. Enjoy your time off!

Seeing you and Shandy was always a pleasure. Thank you for your trust and kindness.
Now that she is on the Baytril and doing better, I think that the discomfort associated with her urinary tract infection was causing or contributing to her breathing issues at night.
I wish Shandy good health! Please check in to my blog in a month or so as I should have a better idea as to my plans. Take care.

Someone pointed me in the direction of this blog, and I find many of your commentaries quite interesting. I wanted to thank you again (I hope you got the card I sent) for all you did for my Ooshie. Your skill throughout the time he was your patient, and your compassion that final day of his life will never be forgotten. I plan to return to Toronto sometime in 2009. Chicago is a necessary evil for my business, but not the place for me personally. I hope you'll be practicing again by then, as I'm pretty sure by then I'll have opened my heart and my home to a new "little terror" and there's no finer vet in Toronto than you.

Meg,

Thank you for a very touching comment. It came at a time when I really needed a mental boost. I meant what I said: it was thanks to YOU and your devotion to him that Ooshie did so well with his illness.
I have every intention to be practicing soon. I, too, hope our paths cross again.
Best of luck to you!

Sincerely,

-Dr. Cliff

I am sorry, that I did not get a chance to see you just before you left. I would like to thank you again for all the care and devotion you gave my cats. Thank you for listening to me and the cats. I believe The Clinic has lost a very special and gifted Vet.
You are a very compassionate and talented Vet and person.
I wish you good things only and I hope to see you again
you are very special

Clifford, Clifford, Clifford. Poncho and Pepsi are shattered! Not to mention me. The kids were in for their regular weigh-in and wanted to say Hi. We got the bad news.
It seems to take forever to find a Vet you can trust so we were all very pleased when you joined the team at the Animal Clinic. Not to take anything away from John and the great staff there - they are terrific. You just have something about your personality and the way you deal with customers that made us really comfortable during each visit. We miss you.
Have a great couple of months off. We really look forward to your return to a regular practice in the near future. It would be nice if it were the Animal Clinic as the place just isn't the same without you anymore.
